IS YOUR CUP HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY? CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR...

CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR

Read:
Acts 16:16-25
.....................................................................................
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
-Phillippians 4:13
.....................................................................................
A college student decided one summer that he would earn
money for his tuition by selling Bibles door-to-door.
He set out at the home of the school president.
The president's wife came to the door and explained politely
that her family didn't need any more books.
As the student walked away, she saw him limping.
"Oh, I'm sorry," She exclaimed. "I didn't know you were disabled!"

When the student turned around, she realized she had offended
him. So she realized she had offended him. So she quickly added,
"I didn't mean anything except admiration. But doesn't your
disability colour your life?" To which the student responded,
"Yes, it does. But thank God, I can choose the colour."

How do you see your cup...? Half full Or Half empty...?

When Paul and Silas were imprisoned at Philippi and their backs
were raw from beatings, they sang hymns (Act 16:23-25).
They chose the bright colour of praise instead of the dark colours
of depression, bitterness, and despair.
No matter what affliction or crisis we may face, we too can
decide how we will respond. With the comforter that is the Holy
Spirit,we can refuse to paint our lives in the dull grey of grumbling
and complaining. Instead, our chosen colour can be azure blue of
contentment because God's help is always available. - VCG

He gives me joy in place of sorrow;
He gives me love that casts out fear;
He gives me sunshine for my shadow,
And "beauty for ashes" here. - Crabbe

How do you see your cup?
Glorify God in your weakness rather than sob!
Praise God in times of insufficient rather than complain !
Adore him in times of tribulation rather than being moody & broken !

is your cup Half full or Half empty?

GOD CHOOSES WHAT WE GO THROUGH;
WE CHOOSE HOW WE GO THROUGH IT.... God bless you!!!

FINDING GOD'S WILL....

Finding God's Will...

Read :
.......................................................................................................
"Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
.......................................................................................................

There's hardly a Christian who hasn't looked into the future and questioned.
"What is God's will for my life?"

Be joyful. Pray continually. Give thanks. For this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
"But you don't know my situation," I hear you saying. "How can I be thankful for
pain and heartbreaks." God is not asking you to be thankful but to give thanks...lol!
There's a big difference between feeling thankful and giving thanks.

One response involves emotions, the other, your will. Trusting God has absolutely
nothing to do with sincere feelings.

Also, God's not asking you to give thanks for the tough times --only that you give
thanks in them. Give thanks that He is sovereign... that He is in control...giving you
grace and peace... and planning it all for your good and His glory.

Learn or make it an habit to rejoice in suffering... by having a brighter attitude to
giving thanks to God, regardless of the situation you find yourself....

"I want to find will for my Lord, O Lord... I want to find your heart.!"
